Our guides explain how a rule works and what to do about it. Insights are different: each one is dated and looks at a single judgment, a rule change or a question we have researched across the case law. Every insight names the guides it affects, and those guides are updated when the analysis changes what a bidder should do.

We don't publish news for its own sake. An insight is written when something changes the bidder's position, or when a careful look at the primary sources tells you something the guides alone don't. How we check them is set out in how we check.
